Authentic local vibes and a welcome change from the touristy spots in old town Alaçatı. The prices were reasonable (no menu, you go in and pick what you want) and staff was friendly despite limited English. The sunset view sealed the deal. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing. Prices are really cheap if you compare with Cesme Center and Alacati. The area are not crowded with tourists mostly local people. For my foreigner friends, there are not any menu in fish restaurants but you can ask the prices one by one. And you need to go inside the restaurant and order your food. Really recommended.

This place is wonderful. Very cozy and authentic without undue pretentiousness. We had a wonderful dinner here with my husband and our friend. We have ordered an assortment of starters (one was given as a compliment), grilled octopus, squid and sea bream. All the courses were delicious. The whole meal plus drinks costed about 1000 lira. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. I highly recommend you this restaurant. The food is as tasty as in Ferdi Baba, but twice cheaper.

We wanted to try Kaptan Balik bcuz we watched it on You Tube on Ayakustu Lezzetler. This was another disappointing experience. We came all the way from the States, it is our 2nd try, 1st it was Eksi Maya in Ankara then Kaptan Balik in Cesme, unfortunately both were a flop. Kaptan Balik is one of those typical sea side restaurants in Turkey. Same old cold & hot starters & whatever fish may be available. You can sit outside on uncomfortable chairs by the little marina which is windy like hell, there are dozens of cats around begging for food. We only had fava, smashed beans, as a starter which was good. Then we wanted grilled octopus but we got battered and fried instead which wasnt good at all. Our salad was average, just greens, cucumbers & red onion. The fish we picked was barbun which was fried & cupra which was grilled both were average tasting fish. Prices were reasonable for what was offered. Service was below average, couldnt even get a wedge of lemon even though we asked multiple times before finising our fish. Overall, it was nothing like advertised on Ayakustu Lezzetler. Im deleting all the recommendations from Ayakustu Lezzetler, 2 tries are already enough to understand that Oguz & Onur's taste is way below ours since we have been over 50 countries in the world & ate in 100s of good, bad & fantastic Michellin star restaurants. I think we will leave their recommendations to the locals to try. We r done n gone.

Great location. Lovely view of the small harbor at the charming village of Çiftlikköy! Very pleasant lady manager. Food is tasty and fresh. Pricey. Service can be slow. Usually crowded in the evenings, particularly by those who like their drinks. A great local taste!
